The roof of an apartment building collapsed yesterday in Mladenovac near Belgrade due to a severe storm, and only by sheer luck was a tragedy averted.

Surveillance cameras captured the moment during a devastating storm in Mladenovac when the roof almost fell on a car.

A car driver driving down the street braked just moments before the roof of the apartment building collapsed in front of him and hit the pavement hard.
